How long have you been in dentistry and why dentistry?

• I have been in the dental field since about 2020 now. I started as a sterilization-technician in high school and have worked my way to being a hygienist. I love hygiene because I am passionate about the prevention side of healthcare. It is so rewarding to see patients learn more about how to better their oral and overall health and build habits that help them achieve healthy goals.

• I was born and raised in Powell River and I moved to Victoria about six years ago! When I’m not at work, I love baking or cooking, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, shopping, going to the gym and trying new restaurants.

• Bowker Creek is run by a team who value respect, collaboration and work-life balance which is hard to come by in the dental field. Since starting at Bowker Creek, I have learned that we have some of the kindest patients which plays a huge role in this positive work environment.
